Introduction
The wood chipper is mainly composed of chassis, dead knife base, dead knife, chipping rod, rotor, main shaft, hammer, upper feeding mechanism, below feeding mechanism, feeding device, discharge device, hydraulic system and electric control system.
Chassis, dead knife base, dead knife, chipping rod
 Chassis is welded by high strength steel plate and is the supporting basis of whole machine. There is dead knife base support on chassis, used for installing dead knife base. Dead knife is fixed on the dead knife base by specially made high strength bolts via thrust block. Dead knife base can be taken out freely through the hole on the side of chassis. Oversize material can be chipped again by chipping rod on the chassis.
Rotor, main shaft, hammer
Rotor is the working parts of wood chipper, is welded by high strength steel plate and has high intensity and rigidity.
Main shaft has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, is linked to rotor by locking device or flat key, of reliable usage, easy disassembly and assembly.
Rotor is equipped with many hammers, and is fixed on rotor by specially made high strength bolts.
After rotor, main shaft and hammers are assembled, perform dynamic balance test on dynamic balancing machine, precision grade is no less than G6.3. Then, support both ends of main shaft by automatic self-aligning roller bearing. Bearing seat is fixed on the chassis.
Upper feeding mechanism, below feeding mechanism
Upper feeding mechanism is composed of upper feed roller seat, feed roller, upper feed roll shaft, balance shaft, reduction gears, etc. Below feeding mechanism is composed of feed roller, below feed roll shaft, reduction gears, etc.
Feed roller's diameter and weight is larger with teeth on the surface, so as to compress the raw material, make material into the cutting position at uniform speed, ensure the crushed material particle size and uniformity. Wheel gear of the upper and below feed roller is staggered so that material fragment can be cleaned.
Feed roller joins and fastened with bearing via locking device. Bearing is supported by self-aligning roller bearing. Bearing seat is fixed on the upper feeding roller seat. Upper feeding roller is fixed on the chassis by pendulum shaft and swings up and down with the pendulum shaft to compact the material-to-be-crushed onto the link joint, so that synchronously push the material to the cutting position.
Feeding device
Feeding device is link joint conveyor.
Discharging device
Discharging device is belt conveyor.
Hydraulic buffer system
 Hydraulic system consists of oil tank, oil pump, overflow valve,oil cylinder, throttle valve, reversing valve, hydraulic lock, accumulator, stop valve, oil filter, liquidometer, pressure gage, and piping parts.
